    Excel Sorting (2002)

Simple question really. Is there a way of sorting by more than 3 columns in Excel.

    Thanks.

Yes, but you have to do it in several steps. Say that you want to sort by 5 columns. First, sort by the 3 least important columns. Then, sort by the 2 most important columns; this will leave the result of the first sort action intact as much as possible. Sorting by the 2 least important columns first, then by the 3 most important will work too.
