    Outlook Attachments (2002 SP2)

Some email arrive on my desktop at attachments. The message and the images all as separate attachments. I do not know how to view the email as it is meant to look. Any ideas?

Are these messages from someone you know (not spam)?

Can you tell from the file names whether they are HTML messages?

Can you describe your set-up in a bit more detail: do your messages arrive through an Exchange server or a POP mail server?

not spam, it usually happens with mail programs like incredimail I think

doesn't seem to be html, I get html mail which looks as it should. When I open the envelope in the attachments it is a text message

    We have Exchange (NT4.5)

Well, I don't know. You could try having one of the senders use a variety of different formats to diagnose it...
