Time Zones (GMT/BST)

How does the forum know what time zone I'm in (apart from zombie-land)? I only ask 'cos the posts are all out by an hour since sunday. I know, I'll go and have a word with the PM, but in the meantime is this a profile setting? I had a look but couldn't see it.

I think this phenomenon is due to the fact that we (Europe) went to daylight savings time on Sunday while North America is still on regular time until next Sunday. Don't quite know how UTC fits into this equation but obviously DST is not observed there (wherever that is) <img src=/S/dizzy.gif border=0 alt=dizzy width=15 height=15>

That's right. UTC is interchangeable with GMT.
