Is there a way when using MY COMPUTER you can set it so that all windows that are opened always & automatically come up in the LIST view format and also have the toolbar show. I'd like to be able to do this for WIN98 and NT4.0

Thanks I found that on my WIN98 machine. But I don't see anything like that for NT. Any ideas for it or should I ask the NT area?
You might try the NT area...
NT is iffy, it may be in the desktop properties area, it could even be a network policy... <img src=/S/shrug.gif border=0 alt=shrug width=39 height=15> I never liked NT... <img src=/S/puke.gif border=0 alt=puke width=60 height=15>
As I remember, i had to set this for all the folders I 'frequented' in NT... there's not a standard place to change all folders that i'm aware of... but again, try posting this over in NT, and see how it goes!
