    Set the CanGrow and CanShrink properties of the Detail section of the report to Yes.
    Put a text box named txtAttached with control source ="See attached list" below the text boxes bound to strDescription1, ...2 and ...3. Set its CanShrink property to Yes and its Visible property to No.
    Put a page break control named pgBreak below the controls for the first page, and set its Visible property to No.
    Put a text box with control source memDescription below the page break. Set its CanShrink property to Yes and its Visible property to No.

    Put the following code in the On Format event procedure of the Detail section of the report:

    Private Sub Detail_Format(Cancel As Integer, FormatCount As Integer)
    If Not IsNull(Me.memDescription) Then
    Me.txtAttached.Visible = True
    Me.pgBreak.Visible = True
    Me.memDescription.Visible = True
    End If
    End Sub

    Thanks Hans

    Code worked fine, could not find visible propertry for page break control, I used the one off the tool box menu.

    John,

    For some reason unknown to me, the Properties window and IntelliSense don't show many properties for controls in reports althought they are perfectly valid. You can type them into a module, even if Intellisense doesn't suggest them, and they will work OK. (I meant the Page Break from the Tool Box too)
