    Chart Printing problem

I am having a problem with the attached Excel 97 Workbook. One of the sheets contains a bar graph. The first time I printed this graph the pattern within the bars was not the same. Three of the bars looked fine but one bar had no pattern at all. I made several changes and was able to get the pattern to appear in the originally blank bar but when that happened a different bar went blank. I use an HP 1400 Lazerjet printer. Any ideas? As a side note, I emailed the file to the local chamber of commerce office. When they printed the chart none of the bars had a pattern.

    Re: Chart Printing problem

All of those fills print fine on my system (Win 2000, Excel 2000, HP LaserJet 4000 printer). My best guess is that the print driver for your printer is not handeling the light pattern properly. Two suggestiions. 1- Try a darker pattern. 2- Check the web site for your printer vendor and see if there are any updates for the driver.
