    Header Color Help (Windows NT Pro)

    Help....Is there a way to change the color of the font in a header in Excel? Can't find it anywhere.

    As far as I know, the Headers (and the footers) can NOT be colored.

    a work around:
    You can (instead of a Header) use 1 (or more rows) as a top border (File - page setup - "sheet" tab - "rows to repeat at top")
    You can format this as you want in excel with colors or anything else even add graphics.

    You only mention your operating system, not your version of Excel. I don't think Excel supports color in header or footer text in any version up to now, but in Excel 2002 (Office XP), you can insert a picture in the header or footer, so you could save colored text as an image and insert that.
