    word causes KRNl386 error (1)

    Hi All,
I have a bit of a problem, I have a PC, running windows 98se, 128 MB Ram. just lately when ever I try to run word 2000, I always get the following message. "Explorer caused a general protection fault in module KRNL386.exe at 001:000075a2". (Nothing new has been installed or removed)Then a message pops up saying that "system resources are low", yet there is very few programs running in the back ground.
Any suggestions as to a fix?

    Thanks,

    Hi Kiwi:
I would try the general steps mentioned in <post#=197827>post 197827</post#>. You can also look through this list of articles that I found on the Knowledge Base; however, I couldn't find the exact error message.
    Hope this helps,
