HTML email - can I use my own editor?

I am trying to produce an HTML-format email in Outlook 2000. Is there any way to use my own HTML editor (or even notepad)? I would like to use tables and set anchors for internal linking in the message. I have figured out how to view the source code, by it does not appear that I can edit the source.

I have checked the MS Knowledge base and there is no mention of using other editors. Has anyone done this?

    Thanks,

    Mary

I found the answer (kept looking) on slipstick. For anyone else who's interested: http://www.slipstick.com/mail1/html.htm

Thank you very much for taking the time to post this solution!!!

Your URL also solved my problem of sending Quicken invoices in-line using Outlook. Normally the bills become attachments, which some of my client's companies filter out automatically :-( Now they're inline and we can get payed :-)
