    Internet Options

Hi, when I click the 'use default' button for my home page in the internet options dialog an eronous address defaults as the home page. It's an address I don't want, how can I rid this from my system?

    Thanks Darren.

Check this thread from the IE Forum - particularly Ken's links to hijacking at the end.

Use Default sets the start page to the one set during the installation of Internet Explorer. To set the start page you like, navigate to it and then click Use Current.

I suspect that the default is stored in the registry in HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftInternet ExplorerMainDefault_Page_URL (this is in IE 6) or its equivalent in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.
