Enter repeat data in separate records (dates) (2000)

I need my guys to be able to enter two dates, then to just click on a 'Command' button and these same dates will be entered into whichever record they are currently on. Possible? Any problems if they skip a record, then try to use the "paste same dates" command button?

Example in the file attached... just click on January... need button to do as explained in the Yellow box.

With the insertion point in any field, Ctrl+' (Ctrl + apostroph) will copy the value from the same field in the previous record to the current record. If you can teach your users to use that, you don't need a command button. Otherwise it would require some fancy programming.

You could have two unbound text boxes to use for entering the dates you want users to be able to duplicate on other records. Then in the properties for the field where you want the date entered you could build code into the doubleclick event so that when a user doubleclicks the date field, the contents of the unbound text box could be entered automatically. The code would be as simple as Forms!YourFormName!UnboundTextBoxName = Me.FieldName.

Thanks, again, Hans ! Just 2 follow-up questions...
    1. Is there a list of short-cut commands like the Ctrl+' which you just told me about?
    2. In my attachment, if you click on the "NEW SITE FORM" button... the form opens and shows a value in all of the 'list boxes'. Is there any way to have it open with these boxes blank? I couldn't find anything in the properties which I could change.

ps. You guys are great !

    1. Type shortcut into the Answer Wizard or the Help Index. There is a large number of shortcut keys, so take some time to study them.

    2. A list box always shows something. You can convert them to combo boxes if you want them to start out empty (right click one of them, select Convert To, then Combo Box)
