Good & Free PKI Based Systems?

    Hi,

Are there any recommended PKI service providers which are free & fit well with a Microsoft (Echange/Outlook), PC based setup?

    Thanks,

    m.q.

If PKI stands for Public Key Infrastructure, PGP has a user-based vouching system. You vouch for a certificate's authenticity, then upload to the PGP server. It also supports Root Authorities and more, I read the manual 2-3 years ago and don't remember quite well. I've only used symmetric encryption, never had the need to use asymmetric enc. or make VPN tunnels.
I suggest you dowload and see yourself. The documentation is very complete.

As for compatibility with MS Exchange / Outlook, PGP will install plugins almost anywhere (even for ICQ! - I dunno if ICQ 2003 is supported, though). Outlook is on its list. Check it out. PGP is a must for me.
