    win32.datom worm (Win95 sr2b IE5.5)

I don't know if this is the correct place for this post, but here goes.
In the last week I have been getting a prompt from Vet antivirus software about the win32.datom worm, and Vet usually finds the following 3 files and deletes them:
    MSVXD32.dll
    MSVXD16.dll
    MSVXD.dll
Does any body know where it comes from and how to stop it happening?

    Pat,

If you search Google for win32.datom, you'll find lots of information. It is a network worm, so if your PC is on a network, other PC's in the network may be spreading it.

Thanks Hans, now I wonder how it got there in the first place. I have check win.ini and the registry and cannot find any entries relating to this.
