    MSExchange Error Message?

    Hi,

I sent an email to my Office Exchange Server account; after 2 days we got the following error:

"Delivery attempt history for your mail:

    Sat, 5 Jul 2003 17:28:11 -0300 (GMT)
TCP active open: Failed connect() Error: Connection refused"

Can anyone decrypt this for me? Why would Exchange produce such an error & thus also refuse to accept the email?

    Thanks,

    m.q.

I don't think you have enough infornation there to determine anything.

How did you send the message (e.g., what SMTP server), and is this the only error to date? Was delivery ultimately successful or unsuccessful?

    Re: MSExchange Error Message?

I'd guess either a firewall problem, an exchange server being down, or an authentication error.

Very weird. The Yahoo! mail server claims to have composed mail to you in Outlook 2002!

Any chance your e-mail administrator is blocking connections from Yahoo?
