    Formula Help: Sum If

Columns C and D contain numbers. I want to know the totals of those numbers only if C(row) and D(row) are the same number.

    Any ideas?

I'm not too sure if I understand what you want to sum. If you want to add C and D when they are equal, you could use =IF(C1=D1,SUM(C11),0). You can replace the last zero with "" if you want it left blank for non matching values.

    Do you mean horizontally:

    =IF(C4=D4,C4+D4,"")

    or vertically:

    {=SUM(IF(C1:C12=D112,C1:C12,""))} Array formula
