    Memo Fields (Access 2K)

Is it possible to highlight letters, words and phrases within a memo field by using bold, italics, etc.? Any advise appreciated. Thanks in advance!!!

By default, a memo field is displayed in a standard text box. A standard text box can't display formatting for individual parts of the text. You could store formatted text as RTF in the memo field and use a Microsoft Rich Textbox 6.0 Control to display the text with formatting, but if you want to be able to edit the formatting, you'd have to write a lot of code, or let the user edit the RTF directly - not very user-friendly. The attached picture shows the contents of a memo field in a Rich Textbox Control on the left and in a standard text box on the right.
