    Save PPT2K theme as Word2K theme? (2000)

Is it possible to save a PowerPoint theme as a Word Theme? We have created a theme in PowerPoint that we want to carry over to the documentation and handouts that we are Creating in Word. I can find the themes in PowerPoint and in Word but they seem to be in different formats.

No way I know of. I don't even think there is a correlation between the two. But I don't see this as more of a problem than just making a new Word template using the graphics and colors from the PowerPoint template.

    Hi Thom

I agree with LennyJo, but a workaround might be this:

I viewed the slide master and press Ctrl+A to select everything on the slide
Then I went to Word and created a new document
Selected View/Headers and Footers and hit paste.
I then deleted the placeholder text boxes and anything else I didn't want.

I did find that, depending on the design template used, some backgrounds did not carry over into Word and you might have to change the font colour of the text used in Word. For example when I experimented on the Citrus design template, the text in Word was yellow/orange. Experiment around and see what you get.

I can only make one other comment, once you have created the Word doc, double check the file size, I don't know what kind of effect my method has on this

    Regards
