    Query question (2000)

Is it possible to use a combo box when running a query? I'M using the format "LIKE [Enter the Name of the unit]" to pose a query and I would like to be able to drop down pre set choices as in a combo box, to choose from.

No, you would have to do that on a form. You can use controls on a form as parameters in a query. Instead of [Enter the Name of the Unit]. you could have [Forms]![frmInput]![cboUnitNames] where frmInput is the name of the form and cboUnitNames the name of the combo box presenting the list of names to choose from.

Note: using LIKE without a wildcard character is not very useful.
