    passwords for mapped drives

When you map a network drive and you tell win98 to reconnect at Logon, it automatically retains the password by default. How do you get it to ask for a password every time you logon? It must be a registry hack but d*(^^(^ed if I can find it.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Re: passwords for mapped drives

It does not work that way for me (Win98) accessing an NT4 server. If I bypass network logon (press Esc), my mapped drives are inaccessible and my network-based toolbar is unavailable. If I log on, then all the mappings do load, but I am assuming (!!) that it is because I have freshly supplied the password. Is yours different?
