Windows XP Pro/HP 4000 Series Printers (XP)

We are currently rolling out Windows and Office XP. All of our printers are HP models. Since the beginning of the rollout, our users with HP 4000 series printers have had issues with spacing in printed documents. Some have part of the text cut off of the bottom of the page. Microsoft and HP have been able to offer little assistance other than using the HP4100 printer driver. This corrects the issue for some and not for others. On the other side, using the 4100 printer driver causes printing issues within other applications. This is a widespread, sporadic issue for us and I have a hard time believing that no one else have ever seen it.

ANY assistance you can offer is greatly appreciated.

Scroll through the List of Beta Drivers from HP for Win2000 & WinXP Printing Problems. Just might be a fix in there for you. HP is admitting by puttting out these Beta Versions that they are having problems. Make sure Scroll through them all. HP 4000 Series Beta Drivers They talk about problems with Margins.
