    Backup solutions

I have a church that consists of 8 PC's and no server. All use Windows 2000. Each PC has data that needs to be backed up. Have any of you used a Zip 750 and set Windows backup routine to back up to a mapped drive (the ZIP) on a Full / Incremental basis?
I would prefer a SANS but $ is the ultimate buffer here. (I though God owned it all?!?!)
I do not want to go with low quality so any other ideas would be great. (Maybe a portable hard drive with the right software?)
    Thanks a Million

    Re: Backup solutions

Your safest and most stable storage is to Backup to another Hard Drive. You can use an External Hard Drive to Backup everything on the Computers, except the OS itself. There a lot of Backup Programs. I prefer PowerQuest Drive Image as long as your not Backing up over a Network. It is a very good and very fast Program. BUT, you will get a lot of different opinions on these types of Programs and which one is best.
This is my Opinion and I'm sticking to it, besides I know they work because I have used them for awhile.

    Re: Backup solutions

I do not trust the end users to have the external hard drive plugged in at the time of backup and to remove it at the end of the day. Actually that means someone would have to stay late. What I am looking for is a removable media option like tape or Zip so the backup can run after hours and in the morning the media can be removed and put in a briefcase with new media put in like a Grandfather/Father/Son order.
