Remember what was last typed (XP)

Is there a switch or something that tells the comptuer to remember the last "word" that I used someplace?

Can you be more specific? There are lots of little "auto-complete" things happening in Windows, but not all of them come from a common source.

I am not sure myself on what I am asking...lol. Ok, we have an inhouse application that we developed using Visual Basic. In it we have a few fields that are pull downs but most are stright single boxes. My boss was asking of the 4 people that are entering data why do three of them on the pull downs show the last thing they entered but the last person doesn't.

He is sure that there is a swtich in the Windows XP that allows to do this.

In Internet options, go to the content tab and push the Autocomplete button. Check the boxes you wish to autocomplete (forms for the pulldown menus) and choose OK. That should do it.
