    Spell Check (2000)

I am currently using Office2000Pro and find the same problem I had previously with 98SE. IS there any way of ensuring that spell check in it's different languages works in all of the Office programs. As a translator it would be very useful to be able to use Spanish or English spell check in PoerPoint for example (depending on which way I translate, but when I try, ittells me it can't find the required language dictionary. Any ideas???

See <post#=270936>post 270936</post#> for an explanation of using different languages. By the way, Office 2000Pro & Win98 are different animals. The former is a set of applications & the latter is an operating system. You can have either one without the other.
    Cheers,

Also make sure that Office Proofing Tools are installed:

    - Click Start | Settings | Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs and pick "Microsoft Office 2000..." from the list
    - Then click "Add/Remove" (Win98) or "Change" (Win2k/XP) button.
    - Click "Add or Remove Features"
    - Navigate to Office Tools | Proofing Tools (Spanish)
    - Click on "Proofing tools (Spanish)" and from pop-up menu choose "Run all from My Computer" (second option). Repeat this step for all languages you need.
    - Click "Update now" button, then OK, OK.
