    Opening an Excel 2000 document

Is there an easy way to open an Excel document without having to left arrow to get to Excel in My Documents.

I wasn't clear enough. I'm talking about when I'm in Excel, and I try to open a document. When I click the open folder, I have to always arrow left to get to Excel. I'd rather not go to Explorer every time I want to open a document in Excel. Thanks.

Now I see what you mean - sorry.

If you go to Tools, Options, and select the general tab, you set the default folder for locating your files. Just change that to whatever location you want excel to default to. Then when ever you you File Open, excel will go that directory rather than My Documents.

    Hope that helps you
