Export favorites list (Windows xp home)

<img src=/S/confused.gif border=0 alt=confused width=15 height=20> I want to save my favorites list so I can copy to CD. So I go to internet explorer. click file. click import & export. the import export wizard comes up. click next. select favorites. click next. select destination folder. The name of the file is bookmark.htm. When I click next a popup window says PLEASE ENTER A VALID URL OR COMPLETE PATH AND FILENAME. I can't go any further. What's wrong??

This does same thing. This guy is saving it to a different Hard Drive but you can do the same thing to save it to a folder you create, by using this method. Saving Favorites Folder By the way his favorite folder was under Windows. Yours will probably be under Cocuments And SettingsUser NameFavorites

The truth is if your just wanting to copy your Favorites to a CD, just navigate to your Favorites folder and right click on it and click "Send To" and choose your CD-Burner Drive Letter and Windows will tell you that you have "files waiting to be written" in your system tray. Click on that and follow the directions. Other wise use your Burning Software like Nero Burn.
