Increase a group of number by a specific amount (Excel 2000)

I am looking for a solution to a problem for my boss. She has a series of workbooks that contain about 15 columns of numbers with about 9 or 10 numbers in each column (computing annual compensation increases and annual bonuses for people). She wants to change a specific set of numbers (3 columns side-by-side in the middle of the worksheet ) She needs to simply increase all of the numbers in these specific columns by three percent. Is there a function or a macro that will do this, or is there a way to manipulate a range of numbers this way?

Type 1.03 in an unused cell. Copy the cell. Select the range of numbers to be operated on, and then Edit, Paste Special, Multiply, OK.
