Circular Reference Toolbar (Excel 2000 SP2)

Everytime I check the Circular Reference toolbar it appears only for the active Excel session as soon as I close and open Excel it disappears, does anyone know how I can permanently set the toolbar to start (other than using VBA, unless of course VBA is the only way to achieve this).

    Thanking you in advance

    Kind regards

    John

Circular references are considered to be errors in Excel, so Excel hides the Circular Reference toolbar if it thinks the toolbar isn't needed. You will need code in the Workbook_Open event procedure of your Personal.xls to display the toolbar each time you start Excel. Even then, it may very well vanish during a session.

    Hi Hans,

Thanks very much for this. I have added some VBA code to perform this for me.

    Regards

    John
