    So now it's SP-3!

OKay, so here the state of things:

After recovery from my recent virus attack, I been piecing it *slowly* back together.

I got evrything pretty well set up, and then backed everything up...

Then I applied SP-3, and ya know what happened? I couldn't connect to the intenet, unless I de-activated ZoneAlarm!

Of course, based on the last broohaha, I couldn't do that, so I restored my backup sans SP-3...

Why am I having a problem with SP-3? What do I need to do?

    Regards,
    Chuck Billow

    Re: So now it's SP-3!

I too had a conflict between SP3 and Zonealarm. It was more than just internet connection though. It also prevented many applications from launching. I switched to Sygate and all was well again. For me the decision to have a more secure OS over a particular software firewall was a no brainer. The OS is, after all, the foundation on which you firewall runs.
