    Macro Disabled (2002)

I work for a large law firm. We have several third-party addins to Word. Sporadically some of our users are receiving the following error message when trying to click on a third-party vendor toolbar button: the macro cannot be found or has been disabled because of your macro security settings. Our security settings are low. Sometimes a reboot works.

The vendor really hasn't been able to help because I haven't been able to pin the problem down so that it happens constantly.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Any ideas?

Medium would be safer in the long run.

You might have a conflict among your add-ins, or you might have a project that attempts to reference a nonexistent template, project, or library. Check out Phil's detailed <IMG SRC=> Systematic Approach to Behavioral Problems in Word (Word 97/2000) for tips on how to sort these things out.
