    Hi Michael,
Have you tried this kb article: <A target="_blank" HREF="http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=276393">Understanding and Troubleshooting Unrecoverable Errors (Faults) in Internet Explorer

IE Application Error (IE version 6.0.2800.1106.xpsp2.030422-1633)

Whenever I close Internet Explorer, the following message appears [The titlebar reads: iexplore.exe - Application error]:
"The instruction at "0x1a40740d" referenced memory at "0x01454138". The memory could not be "read". Click on OK to terminate the program."
The only option is to click OK. Internet closes. (see attached)

Does anyone know what would cause this and how to fix it?

    I am using Windows XP
    IE version 6.0.2800.1106.xpsp2.030422-1633
    SP1

Thank you very much for any help you can offer.

This is really annoying. Does MS offer any free tech support for this? I have searched the web (including Mr. Perez's link) but just can't find out about this.
