    Continous Form Issue (Access 2000)

Ok well I have a Continous Form Issue, The situation is I have a form where you enter quantities of the materials needed on the form. If the quantity equals zero then it doesnt show up on the report that is produced when you click a button. The problem is that if you enter 5 for one material then click on another and enter 6, then click the button the number 6 wont come up because the focus is on the 6 still. i tried goto acnext or goto acnewrec but they dont work because i have add new records off.
    any ideas?

I assume that you have a command button with On Click code that calls DoCmd.OpenReport ...

You can check if the current record has changed and save it if necessary: insert the following lines immediately above DoCmd.OpenReport:

    If Me.Dirty Then
    RunCommand acCmdSaveRecord
    End If
