    Conditional Max (Excel 2002/XP)

    I'd like to do something similar to a conditional average or sum. I need a conditional max
    Column B contains the values that I would like to condition on. Columns c - d contain the data.

    Thanks for help!

    Re: Conditional Max (Excel 2002/XP)

    Generally:

    {=MAX(IF(B2:B10=2,C210,))}

    array entered which means you enter the formula without {}, then enter it with Ctrl-Shift-Enter. In this example 2 is the criteria, use whatever you need.
