    macros with IE6 (IE6)

Can IE6 run macros? I want a macro that will fill in a constant in one box displayed on a web page and fill in a numeric value that iterates by 1 each time in another box. Thx.

Not without a little help, I'm afraid. It's not functionality that's built into the application.

If it's your own site, you could frame the page and drive the automation from a separate frame using VBScript or JavaScript. The security model is relatively lenient when the pages on on the same site and the communication is between two frames in a single window rather than between windows. (Actually, you might be able to do this even if it's not your own site, but it's trickier.)
