easy way to make folder available offline? (Outlook 2002)

If I add a new folder to my standard list, what is the easiest way of making it available offline? I am frequently away from the office, and it is a pain going through the

    add folder
    sync
tools -> send/receive settings -> make available offline

each time. I know it doesn't seem much, but it is easy to forget. What I really want is to be able to choose whether I want the folder available offline when I create it. Or, even better, set this as a default (I nearly always want it). Is there a way out of my misery? (Apart from using a decent email program, but that is ruled out by corporate policy)
    Cheers

This method should make the off-line status permanent
    1. Tools | Send/Recieve Settings | Define
    2. Select the group to set up
    3. Edit button
    4. Put a check in the folders you want off line
    5. Click OK

If you need to take public folders, just drag the folder you are interested in onto the favorites folder that is located under Public Folders.
