Win98SE clients do not stay connected
We have recently updated to Windows 2000 Server for authentication. A couple of days after the switch our Win98 SE clients are being disconnected. MS knowledge base articles
278558 "Mapped Drive Access Denied to Windows 2000-Based Server
and 272594 "Problems Logging on to a Windows 2000-Based server
discribe our problems.
The work around in 278558 refers to article 138365 "How the Autodisconnect Works in Windows NT and Windows 2000" talks about Changing HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESystemCurrentControlSetServicesL anmanServerParameters
And change autodisconnect On one of our Windows 2000 servers this parameters there but the new authenticating server does not show this parameter.
This is probably to general but any help would be appreciated.
