    Editing a Query (2000)

It seems to me I used to be able to run a query to select my outstanding records, then change the ones that were no longer outstanding right in the query. Now Access is telling me I can't edit the recordset. Is my memory THAT bad, or have I inadvertently changed something <img src=/S/confused.gif border=0 alt=confused width=15 height=20>

    Re: Editing a Query (2000)

Is your query based on more than one table? If so, there must be a unique index (for example the primary key) on the field on the "one" side of each join.

Also, Totals queries and queries with Unique Values = Yes are not updateable.
