    Customize Outlook Today (Outlook 2000 )

    When I click on the "Customize Outlook Today" button, nothing happens.... ?? Any ideas?

    Unfortunately, no, that doesn't fix it. Changing the DWORD value didn't do the trick.
    Thanks for the idea though.

    When you mouse over the Customize... link does it "rise up" and give the appearance of a button? If not, it may be that you have configured scripting permissions in such a way as to disable Outlook Today's internal scripts.

    (Otherwise, MSKB 820575 - OL2000: You Cannot Customize Outlook Today After You Install Critical Update 813489 for Internet Explorer is the only other thing we've seen out there. If you use Word as your Outlook editor, you might have to shut down both Outlook and Word to make sure Outlook re-reads the registry after making this change. Similarly, if you have clicked a mailto link in Internet Explorer, you might have to shut down both Outlook and IE after making the change.)

    Boy oh boy do I feel stupid. The KB article worked. But required a restart. DOH! I should have known.
