Copy from CD (Windows XP home)

<img src=/S/groovin.gif border=0 alt=groovin width=21 height=21> I want to use a small portion from a song on my CD to send e-mail. I would have to copy only a small portion. Maybe this can't be done. Any suggestions??

    Hi, Reg ~

You need to rip the song from the CD as a WAV, or as an MP3 then convert to WAV, then open it with the XP Sound Recorder in Accessories and lop off the portion you do not need by 'Edit' > 'Delete...' then save the clip as a new file.

You can also use free third-party application, as CDex or similar.
