    Expose URL? (6.0 SP1)

    <P ID="edit" class=small>(Edited by Leif on 26-Jul-03 10:33. to reduce the attachment to a more reasonable size.)</P>Hi,

The Scrn. Shot shows a popup advert with the URL Hidden.
When I press F11, still there is no URL shown.

How can I know the URL as I want to email it to somebody who can benefit from this popup?!

    Thanks,

    m.q.

    Try:
View > Toolbars > Address Bar

Or, you could try File | Send | Link by E-mail... (unless it's disabled on the file menu).

...or even File > Properties might show it...

If the window was opened with the JavaScript window.open method, you might not be able to change the configuration to show the address bar. Instead, you could try the following:
    1. <LI>Right-click in a blank area of the pop-up window and choose Properties. If the window was sized very tightly around a graphic, you might only get the address of the graphic. If the window was sized very tightly around a Flash movie, you won't get any address information at all.

<LI>Look in the source code of the page that popped the ad and find the address in the source code. How long this takes depends on the complexity of the page.
    Maybe this will help.

    Hi musab

Here is the website entrypage that provided the ad. The url won't show until you "enter" the site.
    Here is the website homepage.

    Have a Great day!!!

The trick I use is Ctrl-N to open the window in a new window. The popup may be designed to hide its information when it is created, but when it is opened in a new window your browser should show all the standard information for the window, including the address. <img src=/S/smile.gif border=0 alt=smile width=15 height=15> See the attached example for our 1-Click TagPanel; original pop-up window on the right vs the full-browser version created as a new window.
