    landscape booklet (2000/SP-3)

A co-worker would like to set up a document in landscape format so he can print "four pages to a sheet" and have the final product come out looking like a booklet.

For example, if his document is 16 pages, then it would print on 4 sheets of paper:
    * The first sheet would have page 16 on the left, page 1 on the right with page 2 on backside left and page 15 on backside right.
    * The second sheet would have page 3 on the right, page 14 on the left; page 4 on the left, page 13 on the right.

What will it take to get Word do this?

Easiest method is to upgarde to Word 2002 (Office XP) and use the built in support
Alternatively there are a couple of suggestions on the Word MVPS web site

    Hi, Scott.

I don't know whether your colleague has access to an HP laser printer but anything from a LaserJet 4000 up that has a duplex unit can print the booklets you describe simply by selecting an option in the printer setup screen. You don't have to do anything in the application and you can select left binding or right binding. It's a great timesaver.

They do very good watermarks off the bat too.

(Incidentally, I have no connection with HP or Compaq - this feature has been such a lifesaver for me in the past and, in my experience, not many people know it's there).
    Regards,

    Steve
