    System Info. (XP)

    Hi,

The scrn. shot shows some system info.

Question is what applet do I run to make WinXPPro show me this info?

    Thanks,

    m.q.

I'm not sure about WinXp but this little Program is the best I have ever seen. Shows more info then I could have ever dreamed of. You can get it free AIDA32

    Musab--

Not clear what you mean because you seem to have opened it. I open it by putting "msinfo32.exe" in the run box, but if you want to open it from a gui applet instead of a command line, that'd be Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Information. Ref. See:

308549: Description of Windows XP System Information (Msinfo32.exe) Tool

    Is this what you mean?

I agree with SMBP. Why are you asking when you seem to have already opened it? However, in addition to Cowboy's excellent suggestion about Aida, there is also Belarc <img src=/S/free.gif border=0 alt=free width=30 height=15>

Belarc, Aida 32 (wasn't that an opera whose version that Toni Braxton recently opened in on Broadway), and Sisoft Sandra are awesome. Belarc is great because of the quickness and neatness of its inventory, and Aida has so many hardware listings I've never heard of it can keep me googling for 3 weeks--all of these are very helpful and have free editions. It's great to be able to download and show someone Belarc and Aida on their computer who has never seen it.

    The answer:

Screenshot on initial post shows MSInfo window is part of Microsoft Office installation, and executable by default is C:Program FilesCommon FilesMicrosoft SharedMSInfomsinfo32.exe

    To me, Belarc is better.
