Multiple Groups Membership but 1 Email?! (XP SP2)

    Hi,

A manager may have responsibilities in more than 1 department in an organisation.
Hence, he may be part of 2 different Lists.

The attached screenshot from Exchange (viewed from the Outlook client) gives such a scenario.

So when an email is sent company wide, he gets it twice.
If he's a member of 5 groups, he'll get the same email 5 times!!!

Is there a way in Outlook/Exchange where duplicate emails are rejected somehow?
He still needs to have membership of all those groups as they often have messages which're specific, but the messages sent company wide are the big problem now.

    TIA,

    m.q.

AFAIK the limited Outlook Object Model does not allow you to parse Distribution Lists. Is it possible to rethink your Distribution List strategy - for example a specific company-wide List?
