Outlook won't send anything. (Windows XP Home, Outlook 2002)

So I have this problem, when my mail server switched, which wasn't even like a real switch, it changed from "attbi.com" to "comcast.net", but all the emails get redirected for a while. And there is no problem. Randomly one day it just stops being able to send anything, it says sending... for like 10000000000 hours, then it doesn't send it does it by percent. Like 10, 20, 30, 99%.... 98% and then stops. I feel like I have to change my outgoing mail server, but I'm not sure what to change it too. Prior to this, my incoming server (POP3) was Mail.Attbi.com, and my Outgoing server (SMTP) was Mail.Attbi.com as well. But ironically it created another email account called mail.comcast.net, where the Outgoing server is Mail.Comcast.Net, and the Incoming is smtp.comcast.net. I tried changing all the servers to what these servers were, but it had no prevail. What can I do. Sorry If it is a little confusing, i haven't slept in a while. haha, please help.

Are you sure that you have this the right way around? Normally, it should be the other way around: both in your description and in the actual mail settings.

Well actually, regardless of weather or not you are right, it doesn't work for me. I'm trying different combinations in hope that something will work. Thank you, though, I don't understand why what you said didn't work.

    Hi,
According to Comcast, the mail settings should be:
    Outgoing: smtp.comcast.net
    Incoming: mail.comcast.net
as you mentioned. Is your default account this new Comcast account?
FYI: there are some basic configuration instructions here
    Hope that helps.
    Regards,

It's been solved, it was the password, it had been faulty, a employee at comcast reset it for me
