C++ Error on AOL Instant Messenger (Windows XP Home)

When I am talking on AOL Instant Messenger, every 10 minutes or so, it will kick me off, and give me an error that says on the tab, "Microsoft Visual C++ Error Runtime Library." As the description it says, "Program: C:Program FilesAIM95AIM95AIM95_c0AIM95_c1aim.exe. Abnormal Program Termination." Now I believe that I can maintain a conversation with anyone else except the person I was talking to when the error occured, but if I press OK then AOL Instant Messenger will terminate. Help.

ok, i tried the website you gave me, and i installed a *.dll that looked like it would work (a C++ Runtime *.dll). And I will keep you updated as to what happens.

Take a look at this Here
Also the Bugbear Virus looks for this file " AIM95. Read this Bugbear

Here is one you might find interesting:
Backdoor.Sdbot is a server component (bot) that the Trojan's creator distributes over the IRC channels. This Trojan Horse allows its creator to perform a wide variety of actions on a compromised computer.

The Trojan arrives in the form of a Portable Executable (PE) file.

When Backdoor.Sdbot is executed, it does the following:

Copies itself to the %System% folder. The filename to which it copies itself can vary. Some known filenames are:
    Cnfgldr.exe
    Sysmon16.exe
    Sys3f2.exe
    Syscfg32.exe
    Mssql.exe
    Aim95.exe
    Svchosts.exe
    FB_PNU.EXE
    Cmd32.exe
    Sys32.exe
    Explorer.exe

NOTE: %System% is a variable. The Trojan locates the WindowsSystem folder (by default, this is C:WindowsSystem or C:WinntSystem32), and then copies itself to that location

You can read about it here Here
