    Dragging Contacts (Outlook 2000)

When I drag a contact into my calendar, the contact's name becomes the subject of the meeting and all the text in the contact notes field appears in my calendar item. (The contact's email address is ignored.) When a coworker drags a contact into his calendar, the contact's email address is put in the To field--it is trying to create a meeting invitation rather than an Item in his calendar. All the information he has posted in the notes field of contact does NOT appear in the calendar item. Do you know why these dragging functions are behaving differently? Do we have different settings? We are both using OL2000 on Windows XP. I appreciate your help.

No idea. I'm guessing when I ask if his Contact Properties include setting Contacts as an Address Book, but yours doesn't.

What are you contact "Display as" settings in Outlook? Also can the email be sent displying the names in the to field?

You may be displaying the Names, but are hot addresses.

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.
