    Hyperlink failure (A2k)

    I have a command button on a form to go to our organization's website to look up member numbers. I have the correct address in the address property of the hyperlink. When I click the command button I get a message that says "Method Follow of Hyperlink Failed". The code I have in the command button is as follows:

    Private Sub cmdLookUpCMAID_Click()
    Dim ctl As CommandButton
    Set ctl = Me!cmdLookUpCMAID
    With ctl
    .Visible = True
    .HyperlinkAddress = "https://ww2.calmed.org/"
    .Hyperlink.Follow
    End With
    End Sub

    Any Help??

    Yes it is. I see it every once in a while, not sure what it means.

    In the first place, check the web address carefully. If I type https://ww2.calmed.org in the address bar of my browser, I get an error message that the server could not be found.

    In the second place, there was a recent thread in another forum (I think) about hyperlinks to https sites failing, but I can't find it now.

    Right again Hans. I had our public site as the address property and our private site in the code. <img src=/S/doh.gif border=0 alt=doh width=15 height=15>
