Maximum no. of records (Access 2000)

An Access database can become up to 2 Gigabyte in size, but it will probably develop problems well before that. Apart from that, there is no theoretical limit to the number of records. I have worked with tables of about a million records without problems, but I don't know how much further you can go.

    Susan,

I am currently running a database that has two tables with 4 million or more records without any problems over the last year.

    That's quite a contact list you are running there, Gary! <img src=/S/wink.gif border=0 alt=wink width=15 height=15>

Nope - No contacts - Just a lot of budgeting and earned value data from MPM spanning 1998 through 2015.
    Regards,
