    Reformat Hard Drive

    Hi,

I want to reformat my hard drive which has windows 98 on it, I cannot find anyway of doing this, the format option on the local drive will not let me do this as it says that there are windows files, do I need a DOS disc or is there some utility I can get which will allow me to boot up the pc and format the drive.

    Regards

    Mike

If I remember correctly, using a bootable Windows98 CD-ROM, the format.com command is in the win98 folder. That should do it for you.
