Print Preview different to what's on the screen (Word 2000 (Office 2000))

    Hi,

I have just updated to Windows XP (was using Windows 2000) with Word as part of Office 2000 (was using this before).

Now I'm using XP my screens look different but I'm getting used to it.

I have a regular file I use as a label template. I show the grids and basically make sure addresses fit inside these.

I have copied the file from my Windows 2000 computer to the XP computer.

Problem is what I see on regular screen (using print layout view) is not the same as what I a see in print preview screen. The bottom three entries do not show!

    Anyone have any ideas.

Certainly we've heard many tales of inkjet printer drivers that cut off the bottom few inches of the page ('though unfortunately, I can't remember the solution)

    Hi,

A very big thank you. Although I had changed settings in Word itself (from Letter to A4 - yep, you guessed it, down under our standard paper size is A4), I needed to also make the changes in the control panel/printers section.

My preview and screen views are matching once again and my printer does not keep defaulting to letter size....!!

So, thank you so much - all fixed again.
