What add-ins are you specifically having problems with? Are these MS add-ins or something else?

The Source Code Control is only available if you have installed Visual Source Safe, which comes on a separate disk in XP Developer. It may show up in Add-ins but that isn't the one you should be using. There is no search button for add-ins on dialog in XP. The add-in manager doesn't install the add-ins, it only loads them, and you can only load those it recognizes.
